Journal of Conflicted Areas

Ethics and Policies

Journal of Conflicted Areas is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and academic integrity. The journal follows widely accepted principles of scholarly publishing and expects all participants in the publication process, including authors, reviewers, and editors, to adhere to these standards.

Publication Ethics

Authors submitting to the journal are expected to ensure that their work is original, has not been published previously, and is not under consideration elsewhere. All sources must be appropriately acknowledged, and proper citation practices must be followed. Plagiarism in any form is not acceptable.

Authorship should reflect significant intellectual contributions to the research. All listed authors must approve the final version of the manuscript and agree to its submission. Any conflicts of interest, financial or otherwise, must be clearly disclosed at the time of submission.

The journal does not tolerate data fabrication, data falsification, or other forms of research misconduct. Where research involves human participants or sensitive contexts, authors are expected to confirm that appropriate ethical standards and approvals have been obtained.

Editorial Responsibilities

Editors are responsible for making publication decisions based on the scholarly merit of submissions, without regard to authors’ institutional affiliation, nationality, or personal characteristics. Editorial decisions are guided by the relevance of the manuscript to the journal and its contribution to the field.

Editors will ensure that all submissions are handled in a confidential manner. They will also take appropriate action in response to any ethical concerns raised about submitted or published work.

Reviewer Responsibilities

Reviewers are expected to provide objective, constructive, and timely evaluations of submitted manuscripts. They should treat all materials as confidential and must not use unpublished content for personal advantage.

Reviewers should disclose any potential conflicts of interest and decline to review manuscripts where such conflicts exist. They should also identify relevant published work that has not been cited by the authors when appropriate.

Peer Review Policy

All manuscripts submitted to Journal of Conflicted Areas undergo a rigorous peer review process. Submissions that meet the journal’s basic requirements are sent for review by independent experts in relevant fields.

The journal operates a double blind peer review system, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed. Typically, each manuscript is evaluated by at least two reviewers. Editorial decisions are based on the reviewers’ reports, as well as the editors’ assessment of the manuscript’s quality, originality, and relevance.

Authors may be asked to revise their manuscripts in response to reviewer comments. Revised submissions may be subject to further review. The final decision regarding publication rests with the editorial team.

The journal is committed to ensuring a fair, transparent, and timely review process.
